Fun is an understatement! This group was the shizzz. Photographing the getting ready stages of the day is one of my favorite parts and Andrea and her girls didn’t let me down! We hung out in the bridal suite as they got their hair and makeup done. Jenn snuck off to capture the guys while they hung out and got ready. It’s never as extravagant as the girls but there are definitely some jokes and stories that are shared and I get to hear about. After all preparations we peeked outside just moments before the ceremony and could see it all set up. Such a lovely view from the window as well as from any guest seat at the ceremony! It overlooked the lake and made for the perfect setting for Andrea and Zach’s short and sweet ceremony. The weather gave everyone a scare as the ceremony started and huge raindrops began falling, but right as Andrea started walking down the steps and over to Zach it cleared up as if someone had hit an off switch. One of their many thought out details that I enjoyed were the hearts the girls stood on! Not only did it help the girls with their heels, but it was a lovely touch for photos.
Some of my favorite aspects of the day were portraits of some of the bridesmaids with food in their mouth (not pictured), yelling down to Jenn and the guys from the bridal suite as she photographed them, the way the rain stopped as Andrea made her way to Zach, their cake, made by Andrea’s mom, their candy buffet and taking a ring shot with some of it, one of the bridesmaids asking if we were now friends and if she and another bridesmaid could come home with us to keep hanging out. From glow sticks to a post wedding pizza party, I told you these two and their arsenal of friends and family were fun! Cheers to Andrea and Zach to many many years of happiness!
