When Kaitlyn and David told us they’d be having their reception at the Hotel Lafayette, team SHP got super stoked. We have been eagerly waiting for the opportunity to shoot at this location!

Kaitlyn and David wed in front of family and friends at Immaculate Conception Church in a loving and sweet ceremony. After the formalities were complete it was time to party! The crew took a trolley to the Buffalo waterfront for bridal party formals and beers. It was a windy and sunny day; we enjoyed the scenery and made some great images!

The modern, industrial setting of the Green House room at the Hotel Lafayette provided the best backdrop from Kaitlyn and David’s burlap and lace details. We especially loved their creative take homes for the guests: succulents & hot sauce! The best part of the reception by far for us was the traditional Polish song that brought the whole family out onto the dance floor, every guest out of their seat forming a horseshoe around the newlyweds and their families, and gave us the ultimate photo ops!
