We here at SHP consider ourselves beer aficionados, so when the first thing Katie & Jon did as Sarah arrived for their engagement shoot was offer her a beer, she knew we were a perfect match!

Katie and Jon chose to marry on the Great Lawn at the Lodge at Turning Stone Casino, which provided one of the most stunning backdrops for a precessional we’ve seen! Even though Katie and Jon’s son Jaxon, was under the weather, he made everyone smile as he walked his daddy to the alter.

After they made it official in front of their closest friends and family, we were able to explore the casino grounds and find special nooks for portraits. It’s always awesome when we have a couple of hours for photos, with the newlyweds and their wedding party. to allow the venue to inspire us! The casino entertained Katie and John’s guests outside the Cypress Room with an impressive spread of cheese and charcuterie at cocktail hour.

The Cypress Room was personalized with sweet burlap and lace details. Katie’s sister and Jon’s brother gave such heartfelt and thoughtful toasts, they made sure it would be a memorable night for everyone!
