Randy and I met when we were both going to school at Suny Oswego for graphic design. We also starred in the 2 minute remake of “Die Hard” which was renamed to “Design Hard.” I’m sure there’s video proof somewhere on the internet but I’m not much of an actor so I don’t think it’d be worth it to show, haha. So, back in July of 2012 Randy messaged me saying that he might be needing my services in the coming year! It turned out to be a year and a half later, but it was so worth the wait in my opinion! I met Laurie and loved her instantly! I’m pretty sure our initial meeting at my office lasted over an hour! Their spring wedding featured a cake which nodded to Van Gogh’s Starry Night, little Dr. Who details, a bunch of good friends, family and fun! Some of my favorite moments of the day include Laurie and her girls getting ready and helping her in her dress, when Laurie and Randy were announced, Laurie was overwhelmed with great joy with all of her friends and family standing up and clapping for them as they entered the dance floor! Randy’s sweet doodle’s and message on the bottom of Laurie’s shoes and a small detail, the almond paste cookies. Yeah, I went there. I love almond paste cookies!
