We had been meeting about and anticipating Shayna & Brian’s big day for well over a year, so it was magical and a little bit hard to believe when the day finally arrived. The mid-October rain did not look like it was going to let up, but it didn’t hold anyone back! Shayna really wanted to have her first look with Brian outside in the beautiful woods surrounding the Arrowhead Lodge in Brewerton, NY. We love it when our clients are up for going with the flow, so we were stoked when the black umbrellas came out, and it was decided they’d still have their first look outside! Some fantastic images were created from everyone being prepared and flexible.

Their reception was simple and rustic with pops of horror elements.  They made little s’mores take aways for their guests and adorned each table with shoots of wheat in mason jars. Shayna’s love of horror culture was displayed at their head table with skeleton goblets and in her choice of earrings. Shayna and Brian infused their personality into every detail. It was super fun to be inspired by their personal tastes!

Limp Lizard put on a tasty BBQ Buffet, and Paduano Studios got the party started after they cut the cake. Eventually, we were able to break the loving couple away from their guests for a horror/Halloween inspired epic night shot! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from their best day ever!
