Sterling, NY Colloca Estate Winery Wedding | Meghan + Robert

Sarah first met Meghan years ago at a The Academy Is… concert at The Lost Horizon. They both went to photo school, even though at different times, and they chatted about it at the show. Since then, they have kept in touch through social media. Sarah was very excited and extremely flattered when Meghan told Sarah she wanted her to photograph her wedding and knew so ever since they met!

Meghan visited our booth at a bridal show to book us for her big day. Unbeknownst to her, her grandmother had already done so as a surprise. We tried to keep a straight face as Meghan reminded us of her date, and we scanned through our calendar. Sarah could barely hold it together as she joked with Meghan that we were booked, and that she was really really sorry! After a beat, Sarah told Meghan that we were booked for HER big day. She was so happy it made our hearts burst!

Meghan and Robert married each other on a hillside along the Great Lake Ontario on a beautiful Saturday in July. Colloca Estate Winery in Sterling, NY provided a breathtaking backdrop for their family and friends to witness an intimate ceremony. Afterwards, we had fun with the ample amount of time their day gave us to explore the grounds to capture Meghan and Robert’s first hour as husband and wife. Their guests enjoyed cocktails at the outdoor bar before heading the the reception location.

Their best day ever continued with a lovely reception at The American Foundry in Oswego, NY. They thoughtfully planned out the navy and pink details that turned the Foundry into their personal party space! After cutting the cake, Meghan and Robert invited everyone to the dance floor where they brought back the classic group dances; The Macarena and The Chicken Dance in style. We have to admit, we were slightly hesitant (and secretly excited) about these song picks, but Meghan and Robert’s choices were a big hit!

We invite you to take a look at our favorites from Meghan and Robert’s big day!
