Florida Fun!
So, I went to florida with my best friend of 25 years, Savahna, to visit our best friend of like 24 years, Kati! The three of us grew up having sleepovers, going to school together, attending each others birthday parties, first boyfriends, Kati and I went to photo school together, getting tattooed, were there physically or in spirit for each others weddings, husbands, children and everything else good and bad. I’m not sure if I regret only busting out my camera before we boarded to Florida and on our last day before heading back home to New York… But I did get some great snaps of Kati’s children which was my main goal for bringing my pro camera! This first set is with my professional camera and the ones that follow (I’ll make a break in the post) I took with my phone and I’m okay and happy with that. We kept very busy seeing Punta Gorda, Ft Myers, checking out the evening scene at some awesome bars, had some good beer, played some darts and did a lot of catching up! It was such a lovely trip to reconnect! We even had a visit from another high school friend who lives a few hours away! There were some flight issues on our way back that changed my mind about mid week vacations between weddings/during wedding season! We almost didn’t make it back to NY Thursday night!! I’m SO glad everything worked out and I even got a late night sprint in from one wing of the airport to the other, haha. Other than that very stressful aspect of the trip and a terrible hangover I’d say it was one heck of a trip! 🙂
