So Jenn, my bff, wrote an awesome maid of honor speech! She’s the best! I’m so thankful to have such an amazing gal in my life.

“Hi, for those of you who may not know me, I’m Jenn, Sarah likes to introduce me from time to time as her bff, second shooter, maid of honor, assistant etc. etc. etc. It’s pretty awesome to hold so many titles to one friend. But that’s the one I like most – friend. Hi, friend! Thank you, so much, for this honor today.

Sarah and I met four years ago through mutual friend, Kelly. The night the 3 of us hung out together for the first time will always be an epic story for me to retell (if you haven’t heard it, come ask me about it after I’ve had a few more beers), and since that night, many other stories have joined that one. The Time Sarah Took Me to See the Ocean for My First Time. The Time Tim Heckled a Magician at Bavarian Fest. The Time Sarah & Chris Conspired to Hire the Same Magician for Tim’s Birthday. The Time Sarah Introduced Me to Justin. The Many Many Times We’ve All Shared a Good Drink or 7, a Fire, a dance party, Good Conversation.

Sarah, giiiirl (I can never really pull it off like you!) you are amazing and genuine. You are sweet, adventurous, and funny – the people sitting here today are evidence of this. I have met the kindest, most hopeful and creative people because of your friendship and the stories we’ve collected so far.

Tim you, and your big, sweet, goofy heart complement Sarah in the best ways possible. You allow and encourage her to be herself, as she does for you. And I know your own list of epic stories to retell since meeting Sarah is long and varied. That’s what’s so exciting! Just think of what’s to come! I can see the love you two are building – the adventure it will take you on. It’s in the art you’ve collected together on your walls at home and in the way you support each other’s own artistic endeavors. It’s in the lengths you’ll go to make each other laugh and in the way your friends and family gather around you in times of celebration or in times of need. It’s in the way you both fawn over Juuuun, and in the way neither of you can stay mad at the other for too long. I wish you a lifetime of love, adventures, and laughter.
